Throughout my professional life, I have worked between different worlds. As an executive responsible for the Türkiye, Near East and Gulf markets in global companies, I reported both to management in Türkiye and to headquarters in Europe; I was immersed in several cultures, ways of doing business and sets of expectations at once. One day I was listening to the priorities of headquarters, the next to the needs of our business partners in the Gulf. It was there that I learned how the same decision can be read entirely differently at different tables.

In fact, this journey had begun much earlier. I started my career across different fields of communication: television, newspapers, production companies and advertising agencies. At a young age, I lived in the United States for two years, where I set up my own import-export business and opened a shop. Living and working in another country taught me early on not to look at the world from a single place. Entrepreneurship has been part of my life ever since: for seven years, I have been a partner in a small hotel and restaurant in a seaside town.

When I began my professional coach training in 2017, I saw more clearly what had interested me most throughout my years in leadership: how people think, make decisions, change and grow. Today I work as an executive and team coach, and I provide coaching supervision and mentoring. My corporate experience helps me understand the executive’s world, the expectations they carry and the dilemmas they face; in coaching, however, the agenda and the direction are always set by the person I coach. I also serve as a member of the ICF Türkiye Disciplinary Board for the 2026–2028 term.

I continue to share my many years of experience in marketing and communication with organisations through strategic marketing consulting and training.
